Although all cats warm my heart, the Russian Blue is the cat breed closest to my heart.

When I first met the Russian Blue, as an abandoned kitten in our hotel, she quickly captured my heart. And I knew that someday I would love to have a litter of grey Russian Blue kittens.

And now, 10 years later, the time had come. In 2023, our first litter of Russian Blue kittens was born.

We chose Adèle (Jinny) from Cattery The Kings Blue Cats in the Czech Republic. She was 3 weeks old then. Then came the long months of joyful anticipation of her arrival. Until she finally arrived early one morning by Flixbus in Brussels. Those are touching memories that have stayed with me ever since.

Our Cattery “The Blue Babe” is a small-scale but registered cattery. We are deeply committed to the welfare of our animals and the purity of the breed.
